“Tina Kaidanow’s appointment as OSCE Minsk Group U.S. co-chair is not a good sign,” Azerbaijani political expert Rasim Musabayov said commenting on Matthew Bryza’s statement saying that he soon will be replaced by Tina Kaidanow.

“Maybe U.S. sees some analogies between Kosovo and Karabakh situation,” Musabayov said.
Kaidanow was appointed U.S. ambassador to Kosovo in 2008. Formerly Kaidanow served as U.S. special envoy to Pristina, Kosovo’s capital.
“But for me it is not a very good signal. Because Kosovo was finally separated from Serbia. I do not really like the fact that U.S. sends co-chair of the Minsk Group with such experiences and mood,” he said.
“However, one can not make conclusions without knowing the person and not knowing his position. After all, this is American decision, American candidate and she is only a mediator,” the political expert said.
