Matthew Bryza, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and U.S. cochairman of the OSCE Minsk group yesterday has arrived in Azerbaijan.
He is expected to meet officials, as well as representatives of private sector and NGOs.
His meetings will focus on discussion of the basic principles of settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Bryza will also negotiate a range of other issues, including security, energy, and U.S.-Azerbaijan partnership on joint interests to strengthen democratic institutions.
