Azerbaijani president offers condolence to Slovak counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolence to his Slovak counterpart Ivan Gasparovic over heavy human loss as a result of explosion at Handlova coal pit.

“The news of human loss as a result of explosion at the coal pit in Handlova is a source of great sorrow to me”, the President said in his letter.

“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Slovakia”, President Ilham Aliyev said.
