U.S. Minsk Group Co-Chair to arrive in Baku

During the visit, he will focus on the next Minsk Group steps in coordination with the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the search for a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He’ll also be discussing the continuing U.S.-Azerbaijani strategic partnership in security and energy matters, as well as shared interests in strengthening democratic institutions.

After serving as the Minsk Group co-chair and the Department of State official responsible for U.S. relations with the Caucasus since June 2005, Mr. Bryza has announced that he will be leaving his post this fall.
