U.S. shifts to special relations with Georgia

The United States moves from privileged to special relations with Georgia, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said.
"I am honored to sign with the then U.S. State Secretary Condoleezza Rice the Charter on Strategic Cooperation which some people called a "blank paper" in the new administration," Vashadze said.

"Despite such statements, today we all feel profound steps forward," Vashadze added.
