As Day.Az earlier reported, Deutsche Welle news agency Web site’s Weather Forecast and Discover Europe sections included Azerbaijan’s map where Nagorno-Karabakh was marked in a format similar to state borders or as being not integral part of Azerbaijan.
For instance, Weather Forecast section looked like this which was gross violation of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity:
http://usazeris.org/integrity/DW%20map%201%20-%20incorrect%201.jpg) After Azerbaijani citizens applied to agency’s administration with a request to remove the errors, DW web designer ‘filled” the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan with blue (ie, the same color as the rest of the territory of Azerbaijan), but did not remove the bold marks which do not differ from the format of state borders. Thus, the map of Azerbaijan now looked somewhat different, which was also far from ideal:

On June 3, Day.Az published an article which called on Azerbaijan citizens and diaspora members to continue to insist on bringing the country's map to its proper form after which Deutsche Welle received a great deal of letters from Azerbaijanis. The result was not slow to come: the agency’s management instructed to replace the existing map in the Weather Forecast section with the one that was offered instead:
