Azerbaijan’s opposition Great Establishment Party is making all necessary arrangements for the coming municipal elections, party’s Supreme Assembly chairman Azhdar Aliyev said.
He said the list of candidates to be nominated for the election is being determined at the moment.
“Supreme Council will meet in August to determine candidates. We plan to nominate candidates from majority of precincts. Territorial meetings will be held after candidates are approved,” Aliyev said.
He said the party may participate in the municipal election within a union.
“It can lead to party’s success,” he said.
The Great Establishment Party is chaired by member of the parliament Fazil Mustafa.
