Azerbaijan’s Unified Popular Front Party urges to reject peaceful talks with Armenia

27 July 2009 [15:27] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan’s pro-opposition Unified Popular Front Party held the next meeting on July 27, the party said.
The meeting focused on socio-political situation in the country and worldwide.

The party believes that peaceful talks on the Karabakh conflict settlement must be suspended.

“The talks held with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group shows that there is no peaceful solution to the conflict. The party believes the peace talks must be rejected,” the party said.

The party said Azerbaijan can resume talks only after Armenia will recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.

The Unified Popular Front Party is chaired by member of parliament Gudrat Hasanguliyev.
