Azerbaijan’s opposition parties included in the Movement for Karabakh and Republic will not campaign against each-other prior to the municipal elections, party Umid chairman Anvar Agazade said.

He said the parties have agreed to cooperate prior to the municipal elections, but they have not yet decided whether will participate in the elections as a single coalition or individually.
“The party will consider this issue as soon as election campaign is officially launched,” he said.
The establishment of the Movement for Karabakh and Republic was initiated by bloc Azadlig which composes three parties – Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Azerbaijan Liberal Party and Civil Development Party. Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Umid, Musavat and some NGOs have also joined the initiative.
