I never expected Moscow talks to mark breakthrough: MP

Azerbaijani political expert Ilgar Mammadov said in his comments on the Moscow meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents on July 17-18.

“I believe it is impossible to expect breakthrough in the Nagorno-Karabakh talks any time soon amid Russia-West joint mediation. Because West and Russia rival in the South Caucasus. This rivalry will grow even further,” he said.

“I think suggestions of some Western diplomats in Russia’s interest in progress are not realistic,” Mammadov said.
