EU troika arrives in Azerbaijan

The EU delegation led by Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt arrived in Azerbaijan from Georgia on July 19.

The troika includes the representatives of the EU present, previous and next presidency countries. The delegation includes EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby, representative of the EU Council secretariat Paolo Barroso Simos, representatives of the European Commission Karel Kovanda and John Kjaer.

The EU troika will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov on July 20. The delegation will leave for Armenia on Monday.
