Armenian FM hopes Armenian, Azerbaijani presidents’ meeting will help to align positions

17 July 2009 [08:47] - TODAY.AZ
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said he hopes the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev will help to further align sides’ positions.
Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents will meet in Moscow on July 18 as a part of the Race for Prize of Russian President.

“Presidents will continue discussing  the peace process. You know that this is the sixth meeting. These meetings should be seen as a process. Of course, each meeting yields small result but the result makes it possible to organize new meetings,” Nalbandyan said on Thursday to journalists during a visit to the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

He also said that Armenia appreciates desire and consistent efforts of the presidents of Russia, the United States and France as head of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries to assist with parties to the Karabakh conflict in bringing together the positions and move towards resolving the problem.
