Azerbaijan to open first consulate in Ukraine

Congress of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis has initiated to open Azerbaijani consulates in Ukraine, CUA chairman Akif Gulmammadov said at news conference.
“I have raised the issue to open consulates in Kharkov, Odessa, Donetsk and Lvov. This issue is being considered at the moment,” he said. The first consulate may be opened in 2010, he said.

“I think the consulates will certainly be opened next year,” he said and added that the first consulate will be opened in Kharkov.
