MP: If we finance parties from state, they will take an active part in country's political life

"I think the party registration can be eliminated only in case it has not taken part in municipal and parliamentary elections for three times", said Fazil Mustafa, MP and chairman of the Great Creation party, commenting on the statement of Siyavush Novruzov about annulling registration of inactive parties in Azerbaijan.

"The number of the party members does not influence the activity of the party structure. It depends on financing of the party structures. If financing is carried from the state, there will not be any problems with the parties and they will take an active part in the political life of the country", said the deputy.

"If the party exists and is in the parliament, but it is inactive, this is a problem of the Ministry of Justice, which may apply to the court and the court will decide about the further destiny of the party", concluded he.
