Azerbaijan and Egypt expand co-operation

Presidents always make mutual visits, and in the same vein, the President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak plans to visit Azerbaijan, ambassador of Azerbaijan to Egypt Faig Bagirov told Trend News on June 22.

Still the exact date of the visit is not known, the issue is under consideration.

Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with Egypt, with whom there are good political relations and mutual support in international organizations. The two countries actively cooperate in the cultural, humanitarian and economic spheres, there is a need to improve relations in the private sector, investment promotion, development of relations in health, education, information technology and transport.
