Azerbaijani opposition party holds unsanctioned picket in front of Iranian embassy in Baku

An unsanctioned action of the Muasir Musavat party near the Iranian embassy to Baku has been prevented, said party chairman Hafiz Hajiyev.
He said the action involved about 50 activists.

"We protest against pressure exerted on our compatriots and we urge to observe their rights. Though three activists were arrested during the action, we consider that the action did not fail and we managed to say our word. The activists have recently been released.

The party might hold another action when needed", noted Hajiyev.
