MP: Municipalities are important for public

According to him, since the appearance of municipalities institute of Azerbaijan, they have created definite problems.

"They are primarily associated with the division and distribution of land. Thus, it appears problems are growing with the rise in the number of municipalities. The number of municipalities should be reduced several times, when possible.

In turn, they need broader powers to be able to make their own decisions. The number of municipalities must be determined in accordance with the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan", said Sabir Rustamhanly.
