Azerbaijanis join Turks to march in New York

Nearly 10 000 peopled attended the event, president of Azerbaijani Society of America (ASA) Tomris Azeri told APA US bureau.They marched on Madison Avenue carrying the Azerbaijani, Turkish and US flags. ASA represents Azerbaijan in this march for 28 years. ASA president Tomris Azeri said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg sent them a letter of congratulation on 28 May, the Republic Day of Azerbaijan.
