Our main goal is deepening and strengthening bilateral relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, said deputy of the Georgian Parliament Ramin Bayramov, who is a part of the state delegation led by Mikhail Saakashvili who arrived in Baku.
According to him, there will be signed a number of new intergovernmental documents, minutes of free trade and some other agreements.
"That is, in principle, our President is striving to further deepening of cooperation and partnership with Azerbaijan", said he.
Bayramov said that this trip was planned some time ago and it was not a sudden decision.
"And the majority of the members of the delegation, in particular, I learned about it somewhere ten days ago", noted the Georgian MP.
" I believe that relations between our states and governments are at a very high level in all directions. This also applies to our joint energy and transport projects and unity in matters of foreign policy", concluded the deputy.
