Azerbaijani FM: It is impossible to ensure stability and security in the region unless the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is resolved

Mr. Ambuhl said consultations being conducted on the level of Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Switzerland provide opportunities to discuss bilateral, regional and global issues, adding they will also contribute to expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Mammadyarov said his country attaches great importance to boosting cooperation with Switzerland. He underlined the necessity of using the existing potential to deepen bilateral ties.
Michael Ambuhl briefed Mammadyarov on the ongoing negotiations between Turkey and Armenia mediated by Switzerland.
Mammadyarov, in turn, informed the Swiss official of the ongoing talks to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to the Minister, it is impossible to ensure stability and security in the region unless the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is resolved.
The sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
