"Turkey must not interfere in the process of Karabakh settlement, if it wants to help resolve the Karabakh conflict". President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said during his meeting with the Special Representative of the United Kingdom in the South Caucasus Brian Fall.
"Any attempt by Turkey to intervene in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict can only jeopardize the process. If Turkey wants to help a peaceful settlement of the conflict, the most correct will be a complete non-intervention", noted the President.

In turn, Fall said that the UK contributes to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group, and attaches importance to resolve the problem based on the principles and norms of international law.

At the same time while speaking to the guest President Sargsyan praised the UK assistance to reforms in Armenia.

He recalled that the prospects of development of Armenian-British relations were discussed during the summit in Prague with British Foreign Minister of Great Britain David Milibend.

The President praised the British proposal for the permanent meetings between the foreign ministries of both countries as positive and helpful. According to him, this would provide an opportunity to familiarize with the mutual positions and attitudes about various issues.
