On May 7, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev offered condolence to Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on a tragic event caused by an explosion in Dnepropetrovsk, AzerTaj state news agency reported.

"I was deeply grieved at the news of explosion in Dnepropetrovsk. I offer my deep condolence to you, families and relatives of victims and wish speedy recovery to the injured," the letter of condolence said.
