President of Azerbaijan receives Lithuanian FM

The meeting participants stressed the successful development of bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Lithuania in different spheres.

As for the importance of the visit of Lithuanian Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev voiced confidence that the current visit will contribute to the further strengthening of constantly expanding bilateral ties.

During the meeting Vigaudas Ushatskas noted that Baku is a capital of Islamic culture and Vilnius is a capital of European culture and noted that this will promote the further expansion of cultural ties between the two countries.
