All statements about existence of political prisoners in Azerbaijan are fictional: representative of presidential administration

According to him, it is unfair to state that there are political prisoners in Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan is on the European jural area. Why doesn't the European Court of Human Rights deal with the issues of the so-called political prisoners?! The thing is that all statements about existence of political prisoners in Azerbaijan are fictional", noted Ahmedov.

He stressed that it is unfair to appoint a rapporteur on political prisoners for the country, which is the member of the Council of Europe. "Our position remains changeless. As for the work with rapporteur, the work with him will be build the way with other CE representatives", said he.
