Union of National-Democratic Powers intends to attain recognition of bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki as genocide of Japanese people

As is reported, the parties discussed situation in the country and the world.

The parties represented in the union considered the issue connected with the fact that 70 US congressmen called on Barack Obama to recognize "Armenians genocide". The union urges the United States to pay attention to its history before assessing any other events.

"In 1945 the US air forces committed inhumate actions against civilians of Japan by throwing nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This issue has never been raised before.

The parties, represented in the union consider that the ethnic cleansing committed by the United States should be recognized as genocide of the Japanese people.

In this connection we will sent appeals to the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Japan and the US Congress via the embassies functioning in Azerbaijan", notes the statement.

Notably, the union includes the United Popular Front Party, National Unification party and Tekemul.
