"The events of March 1918 in Azerbaijan and Georgia"), Doctor of
historical sciences, Sukhumi State University professor Guram
Markhuliya (theme "Dashnaktsutiun in an effort to create the Armenian
ethnic space"), doctor of historical sciences, Sukhumi State University
professor Teymuraz Papaskiri (theme "The South Caucasus in 1918 and
force destabilizing the situation in South Caucasus") and other
historian scholar spoke at the seminar.
A book by Aydın Balayev - "The events of March 1918 in Azerbaijan" - was presented at the seminar.
On March 31, 1918, Armenian Dashnaks sponsored by their allies Bolsheviks committed genocide of the peaceful Azerbaijani. Some 12,000 inhabitants were killed in Baku alone.
