The presentation of the public association of business people and companies of Azerbaijan in Georgia was held in Tbilisi March 10.

Azerbaijani ambassador Namiq Aliyev attended the session, according to sources in the Azerbaijani embassy to Georgia.
The diplomat voiced confidence that the association will promote the development of Azerbaijani business abroad, including in Georgia. The ambassador considers creation of such an association as a bright example of the execution of instructions of President Ilham Aliyev on expansion of the activity of Azerbaijani business people in Georgia, "which is a strategic partner of Azerbaijan".
Currently Georgia accounts for 22 Azerbaijani companies.
Head of the Azerbaijan-Georgia interparliamentary group of friendship Ganira Pashayeva, Milli Medjlis deputy Dunyamin Khalilov and other participants spoke of the purposeful policy of Baku, aimed at the further development of the economic potential of Azerbaijan.
The event was also attended by Milli Medjlis deputy Gultekin Hajiyeva, president of Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation Rahim Huseynov.
