Ali Kerimli: "Only negative implications of the global economic crisis have affected Azerbaijan"

"The Azadlyg bloc was the first to reduce prices on energy sources and in this connection it released a statement.

But though prices have dropped in most countries due to the influence of the global economic crisis, this process is not observed in Azerbaijan", said Ali Kerimli, chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan and co-chair of the Azadlyg party.

He said only negative implications of the global economic crisis affected Azerbaijan.

"How can it be that world prices are dropping on, but here they are the same? Prices on energy sources must be reduced in Azerbaijan and due steps should be taken in this sense", said Ali Kerimli.
