Union for Democracy urges to create state commission due to gas blasts in Azerbaijan

The Union for Democracy held its regular session on Monday.
Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Classical Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, represented in the association.

The statement says that the Azerbaijan Halg Cumhuriyyeti initiative group, created by the parties in period of holding a referendum on introduction of amendments to the Constitution will take a number of actions in order to prevent execution of these amendments.

The parties also discussed the socioeconomic situation in the country. The session protested the failure to adopt an anti-crisis program and to take any measures to eliminate influence of the world economic crisis in the country. The union urges to prepare a national program to eliminate implications of this crisis.

Moreover, the union voiced concerns due to the gas blasts in Baku and in the regions of Azerbaijan. The parties, represented in the association, urged to create a special state commission on revealing facts of explosion.

Notably the union includes the Classical Popular Front Party, Azadlyg party, National Party (represented by deputy Panah Huseyn), Great Azerbaijan party and National-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan.
