Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli's party applies for registration

He said the party introduced over 1,000 signatures of the party members, needed for registration.

"We have presented all necessary documents. We hope that in the near future this issue will be considered and under the law "On political parties" the party will be able to pass registration within two months", noted he.

Notably, earlier Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli was chairing the Supreme Medjlis of the Popular front party of Azerbaijan. In August Alibeyli decided to separate from the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan and joined the presidential elections as an independent candidate. At the elections he could gain only 2.25% of votes. The founding session of the party was held in December.
