Azerbaijan Defense Minister receives deputy NATO Secretary General

On December 16 Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev received NATO deputy secretary general Claudio Bizonero, visiting Baku, said the press service for the Defense ministry.

The Minister informed the visitor about the military and political situation in the region and the causes of the non-settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation between NATO and Azerbaijan.

Bizonero voiced satisfaction with the level of the current ties.
