Xavier Solana: "The European Union is ready to intensify cooperation with Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan"

During a regular session of the EU Foreign Ministers there was held a meeting with delegations of the South Caucasus countries. By results of the talks Solana told reporters that the European Union is ready to assist in the resolution of the conflict between Georgia and Russia and the Nagorno Karabakh problem.

The EU commissioner on external ties and neighborhood policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner confirmed that the European Union will continue providing support in Georgia's restoration.
