Terry Davis: "The PACE winter session will discuss results of presidential elections in Azerbaijan"

The presidential elections held in Azerbaijan will be discussed during the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, said CE Secretary General Terry Davis, Day.Az reports with reference to ANS-Press.

He said though the report of the observers mission stressed some problems, on the whole a definite progress was especially noted in the electoral process.

"This is a positive factor, as each time, the observers of elections note progress in Azerbaijan. It means that if there is success, one day the elections will be perfect. At the same time, these elections were not fixed as perfect ones", said Davis.
