OSCE chairman in office: "2008 was successful from the viewpoint of Nagorno Karabakh conflict solution"

"I think 2008 was successful from the viewpoint of Nagorno Karabakh conflict solution and serious progress was achieved toward this", Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for conflicts Heikki Talvitie told APA correspondent in Helsinki. He said they wanted to hold negotiations on the basis of Madrid principles and many things depended on the sides. Talvitie also emphasized the importance of Moscow Declaration signed by the presidents. The Finnish diplomat said next year the OSCE presidency would be taken by Greece, which had no much information about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, but it would not effect on the process negatively.
