Mubariz Ahmedoghlu: "The Moscow declaration has already proved that Nagorno Karabakh is not a party of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia"

The declaration, signed in Moscow by the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, has proved once again that Nagorno Karabakh is not a party of the conflict, said Mubariz Ahmedoghlu, head of the center of political innovations and technologies at a press conference on the political results of November.

"Even during the meeting of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan with representatives of 50 political parties following the Moscow declaration, there have not been a single representative from Nagorno Karabakh", said Ahmedoghlu.

He noted that the declaration states firmly that the conflict can be settled only on the basis of international norms. According to the political scientist, even Armenian Foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan, commenting on the international norms, listed the principle of self-determination the last.

"Nalbandyan said that the conflict can be settled on the basis of three principles: non-application of force, on the basis of the territorial integrity of the country and on the basis of the principle of self-determination", noted the political scientist.

At the same time, Ahmedoghlu said the declaration reads that other regional problems can be settled only after the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
