Anne Derse: "After election of a new president the USA will not change its policy towards Azerbaijan"

"The cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan is multi-directional. The two countries are tied with deep and strong mutual relations and interests. I think that such a dialogue and partnership in the sphere of economy, energy, democracy development will further continue", Derse told reporters after the live connection from Baku to Chicago where the winner of the presidential racing in the United States Barak Obama was speaking before the voters.

The ambassador that the new US administration will continue keeping the South Caucasus country in the center of attention. She also said that "the United States will continue promoting peace, freedom and democracy in the world".

She said despite a new president has been elected, the priorities will remain changeless.
