President of Azerbaijan congratulates Mohamed Nasheed on election as President of Maldives

"I am convinced that relations between Azerbaijan and Maldives will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and cooperation according to our peoples’ will," the Azerbaijani leader said in the message.

He wished the President of Maldives robust health, happiness and every success in his activities towards prosperity of the brotherly people of Maldives.
