Vahdat party eager to be represented in Azerbaijani powers

He noted that as the party supported the candidate from the Yeni Azerbaijan party during the presidential elections, it would be correct to allocate a post for the activists for the political structure.

"We ask the powers to allow us to be represented in powers. Our party has many educated persons, who may cope with the set tasks. This is our intention and we want it to come true", said he.

As for whether the party intends to apply to any instances, Kerimli said:

"A month is left before the formation of the administrative board. We are closely watching the situation and if the party manages to establish close ties with the state figures, this issue will undoubtedly be touched upon", noted he.

It should be reminded that earlier the Vahdat party was an oppositional one. In 2006 the party changed its political course, the Vahdat party passed a state registration in 2005.
