Azerbaijani FM meets with counterparts from Croatia, Luxembourg, Georgia, Ukraine

Mamedyarov held a meeting with Croatian counterpart Jordan Jandrokovich during which the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister noted that regional conflicts are not "frozen" and they pose a threat to regional security.

In turn, the Croatian Minister stressed the importance of developing bilateral economic ties.

At the meeting with Luxembourg Foreign Minister John Asselborn, Mamedyarov discussed the energy supplies in Europe, as well as other European issues.

The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan also met with Georgian Foreign Minister Yekaterina Tkeshelashvili. Mamedyarov noted that all the regional countries are interested in restoration of security and stability in the region.

The Ministers also discussed energy and transport projects, implemented between the two countries.

Mamedyarov also met with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Oqrizko and discussed the bilateral relations, regional and international issues, as well as issues of GUAM.

Moreover, Mamedyarov met with members of the US Jewish Committee and attended the reception, organized by first lady of the United State Laura Bush.
