18 September 2008 [17:55] - TODAY.AZ
I do not expect anything extraordinary or unusual from the autumn session of Milli Medjlis to start on October 2, for, unfortunately, the vitally important questions remain beyond the country's parliament, said member of the parliamentary commission on issues of defense and security Panah Huseyn.

"Being the Musavat parliamentary group, we have been speaking of the need to hold discussions on Karabakh since the first day of the start of the work of the third summon parliament. Representatives of the related state bodies, party activists, not represented in Milli Medjlis, NGOs and public, should be invited for discussions. The geopolitical situation in the region changed in spring and summer, which can not bypass us. Our voters have many serious questions, regarding the situation, which established in the region", said Huseyn.

Moreover, the deputy noted that the autumn session opens on October 2 and the next session of the parliament will be held following the parliamentary elections, close to November. According to Huseyn this is one of the factors of that the vitally important issues remain beyond the parliament.

"I think it is done due to elections so that the problems connected with elections were not voiced within the parliament", said he.
