Will Iqbal Agazade's candidacy be withdrawn from presidential racing?

Ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan sent an appeal to the Central Election Commission with a request to consider the issue of violation of the regulations of electoral law by presidential candidate and chairman of Umid opposition party Iqbal Aghazade, said deputy executive secretary of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party Mubariz Qurbanly, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"Before the start of agitation campaign, Iqbal Aghazade spread CD-disks, agitating his candidacy. Thus, he started to hold the election propaganda before the appointed term, which is a serious violation", said he.

According to him, the Party asks the Central Election Commission to investigate this case and adopt due measures regarding the Imid party chairman.
