Potential presidential candidate Hafiz Hajiyev faces obstacles in signature collection

As is noted, the chairman of the Muasir Musavat party, who nominated his candidacy for presidency in Azerbaijan several days ago, has launched signature collection process.

The Central election campaign team was informed that representatives of executive powers prohibit the party activists to collect signatures in several villages of the Geranboy region, particularly, in Yangulalar and Khoylu villages.

Their signature lists were taken away and torn into piece before their eyes, though the signature lists were issued by the Central Election Commission.

In this connection, the party plans to send a protest letter to the Central Election Commission.
