Ilgar Mamedov: "Dislocation of missile defense in Poland is the dictates of the present time"

"The time of conclusion of a preliminary agreement between the United States and Poland on dislocation of missile defense elements proves that the aim is the prevention of threats and possible attacks by the Russian side.

The recent event in Georgia showed that Russia wishes to return to old times, when it posed a threat to Europe and the entire world. And as today revanchist ideas prevail in the Kremlin, dislocation of missile defense systems in Poland is the dictates of the present time", said Mamedov.

Speaking of the further actions of the United States and the whole world, striving for securing itself from the threat of aggressive Russia, Mamedov said the civilian world will gradually transfer to the policy of Russia's isolation.

"In a response to Russia's military aggression against Georgia, the world society will take a number of measure to put pressure on the Kremlin. This pressure will be in direct correlation to the arrogance and empire ambitions of Russia", concluded Mamedov.
