Georgian Prime Minister Vladimir Gurgenidze spoke of serious threat to foreign investments in Georgia, posed by the Russian side.
He told reporters Tuesday that Russian troops, which entered Poti, may cause serious damage to the Kulev oil terminal.

He said two hours ago the Kulev terminal employees were ordered to leave their work places for their security. They were told that the nearest wood, where Georgian armed formation are allegedly hiding, is supposed to be bombed.

As is known, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan holds control stocks in the oil terminal in Kulevi.

"The risk is high", said Gurgenidze, noting that Russia's actions evidence possible termination of the terminal infrastructure.

At the same time, the Premier announced that according to the Georgian side, Russian servicemen intended to bomb three vessels of Georgian naval forces in the port, but at the last moment it was decided to terminate them in the sea.

The control stocks of the Poti port belong to the United Arabic Emirates.

The third case when the foreign investments were under threat was during the Caspi bombing, when Russian air forces dropped bombs on the cement plant, invested by Germany, according to the Georgian Premier.
