Turkish mobile operator annuls contract with Karabakh Telecom

According to Day.Az, the press service of the Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan released a statement regarding information, published by Azerbaijani press that the biggest mobile operator of Turkey- Avea- is on the list of countries, which signed a contract with Karabakh Telecom.

In line with the contract on roaming, signed with Karabakh Telecom on March 13 of 2005, the service of international roaming opened in April of the same year.

But as it was revealed that the address of this company was fixed incorrectly and it operates in the occupied regions of Azerbaijan. The contract was annulled on August 5 of 2008 and the service of international roaming was eliminated.
