A nurse, an unemployed and a pensioner approved as candidates for presidency in Azerbaijan

The Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan considered and approved six candidates for presidency at its session on Thursday.
Among them is working president Ilham Aliyev, candidate from the ruling party of Azerbaijan Yeni Azerbaijan, and a candidate from the Umid opposition party Iqbal Aghazade.

There are also independent candidates, including unemployed Yashar Ahmedov, doctor Vuqar Seidov, pensioner Alimukhtar Akperov and nurse Aevinj Guliyeva. The registration of candidates is going on.
