Peter Semneby delivers lecture at Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan

It was reported that during the meeting with young diplomats P.Semneby spoke of EU policy on Azerbaijan and the whole region. At the same time, he paid special attention to frozen conflicts and ways of their settlement, democratic and economic reforms.

The participants also asked several questions to the visitor about the European Neighborhood policy.

At the same time, Semneby and young diplomats held a comparative analysis of conflicts in the territories of Georgia and Azerbaijan and discussed reasons of EU abstaining from voting in the UN General Assembly on the resolution on Nagorno Karabakh.

The special representative also received detailed information about the activity of the Diplomatic academy and its contacts with the leading universities of Europe.
