Asim Mollazade: "Settlement of Azerbaijan's problems in all spheres depends on the will of Azerbaijani people, but not hearings in any developed country of the world"

And even the criticism, periodically voiced by the United States on Azerbaijan, particularly, when some US institutes of powers criticize situation in the sphere of democracy and freedom of speech in our country is connected with the US intention to accelerate the democratic development in Azerbaijan and attain the resolution of a number of problems we have.

In this connection, I can assess the very fact of the upcoming hearings in the United States in connection with the presidential elections as a positive event", said chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party, MP Asim Mollazade commenting on the hearings to be held in the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission) in Washington on July 29.

At the same time, Mollazade added that the construction of democratic Azerbaijan is a task, which must be settled by the citizens of our country and we should not expect anyone to build the democratic society in our country for us.

"The resolution of Azerbaijan's problems in all spheres, beginning from the issue of return of the 20% of territories occupied by Armenia and up to the establishment of a really democratic state, depends only on the will of Azerbaijani people, but not on hearings in any developed country of the world", concluded Mollazade.
