According to spokesman for the Armenian Defense Minister col.Seyran Shakhsuvaryan, the statements of the Azerbaijani side of the attempt of Armenian scouts to trespass the Azerbaijani border is another attempt to mislead the world community and its own population.

"The information is false", noted Shakhsuvaryan.

He explained death of Armenian serviceman Gora Manasyan by saying that serviceman of one of the frontier units Manasyan lost his way and was shot dead by Azerbaijani servicemen, while now, he says, the Azerbaijani side sets the murder of an Armenian soldier as a fight with scouts.

"Azerbaijani side deliberately conceals or does not want to admit that the killed soldier was not equipped the way required for scouts", said Shakhsuvaryan.

The body of the killed soldier is on the Azerbaijani side. Armenia intends to undertake active steps to return the body to the relatives.

"Moreover, such disinformation threatens the negotiation process on the peaceful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict", added Shahsuvaryan.
