Head of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission meets with Venice Commission secretary

During the meeting, Panakhov spoke of the importance of ties, continuing since 2003, and of fruitful cooperation between the two structures.

Bukikkio voiced satisfaction with the cooperation between the electoral institutions of Azerbaijan and stressed the readiness to assist in the said issue.

Bukikkio asked Panakhov to inform him about works carried out for preparations to elections.

The head of the Central Election Commission noted that working conditions of lower electoral commissions in the framework of preparations to presidential elections have been improved, lists of voters defined and huge works carried out for enlightening voters.
